Step 1: The Home Page
The RapidRetrieve home page is remarkably user-friendly. In fact, you can learn to use the whole system in less than 15 minutes. Selecting “Request Records” guides you step-by-step through the ordering process. You’ll have access to a comprehensive database of over one million physicians and hospitals nationwide to help find the correct facility.

Step 2: Track Progress
The summary page allows you to instantly check the status of your record requests online; they are conveniently organized by categories based on the level of progress. As soon as requests enter RapidRetrieve, providers are immediately contacted to begin coordinating the retrieval process.

Read detailed information for every category simply clicking on the desired Status/Group link. You can add columns to view more information, or just “mouse-over” each request for the latest agent notes to appear in a pop-up window. Summary Page Screen Shot
 
Real time notes from agents document in detail all activity for each request. Have a question or need to make a change to a request? Enter a note in RapidRetrieve and an agent will promptly respond. Notes Page Screen Shot
 
Step 3: Download Digitized Records
When MediConnect receives a copy of the requested record, all records are converted into a digital format and associated to the record request in RapidRetrieve. An email alert notifies you that your records are ready to access. You then download your digital copies of records directly through RapidRetrieve.
